Staff were attentive but not overbearing. Sandy served us and was friendly and efficient. Staff worked hard to make sure we had what we needed. Food was delicious and for £26 I had unlimited drinks, unlimited salad, 3 small plates and a delicious dessert. I think Harvester mansion house is one of the last few decent places to eat in Reading.

Food was incredible! Been going to the mansion house since I was a kid and can honestly say this was the best the food has ever been! Hugely impressed. Team were super friendly also!

Came on a thurs lunchtime. Waitress moaned she had 10 tables (which is probably average) to everyone. Took one table at a time so took a while to get our order taken. Waitress told everyone that paid that she expected a tip very loadly which was quite intimidating. When the food came it was cold and was sent back so had to wait 20 mins for it to come back. So all in all not the same as it used to be, didnt stay for pudding!

Food is always tasty and it’s a pleasure when Sandy is serving our table as she is so polite, friendly, efficient and makes time to ensure my baby is happy. She makes it an even nicer experience along with the delicious meal.

Had a family lunch on Sunday. Was rather busy. But we were in bar area so was a lot quieter. . Food was really good and lovely to have the salad bar. Staff were also helpful. We will be back.

A wonderful place to enjoy a lovely meal no mater what the occasion. Very friendly staff great food at a very reasonable price. Itnis one place we love to come to atleast once a month.

First time in this lovely place, the food was amazing and the staff very helpful.
Once you order any main, you are in title to get a fresh and nice salad with many dressings to your choice.
I believe my main dish was a mix grill; sausage, gammon, steak etcétera
Delicious I have to say.
Dessert also nice 👍
